Great design is worth the wait. But sometimes, you just can't. If an item in your Look has a long lead time or is out of stock, we will suggest a curated alternate item.
Fees
- Flat Fee Pricing Structure: Inside Lookbook offers interior design services at a fixed, flat fee. This fee is clearly outlined on our website and applies to the design services provided.
- Non-Negotiable Fees: The flat fee for Inside Lookbook's design services is non-negotiable. We believe in providing high-quality design at a competitive price. As such, we do not offer discounts, promotions, or special rates outside of what is publicly advertised.
- What the Fee Does Not Include: The flat fee is for design services only and does not include the cost of any furniture, decor, or accessories recommended as part of the design. Clients are responsible for purchasing these items directly from third-party retailers. The cost of these items is separate from the flat design fee and is not included in Inside Lookbook’s pricing structure.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation Window for “Looks”: Clients may cancel their order within 48 hours of placing it or before delivery, whichever comes first. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to concierge@insidelookbook.com. Orders cannot be canceled after the 48-hour period, regardless of whether the design has been delivered. Once the design, including the custom floorplan and Insider’s Guide, has been delivered to the client, the order is considered final, and no cancellations will be accepted under any circumstances, even if delivery occurs within the 48-hour window.
- Cancellation Window for “Lite Looks”: Because these designs do not include customization options, they are delivered quickly and the client may not cancel orders for Lite Looks.
- Non-Refundable Orders: All design services provided by Inside Lookbook are non-refundable. Once an order is placed, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the circumstances. Clients agree to these terms by proceeding with the order.
Design Liability Limitation
- Design Revisions: Inside Lookbook does not offer design revisions. Any changes or revisions made by the client are the client’s sole responsibility.
- Client Responsibilities: Inside Lookbook provides customized interior design services based on the photos, measurements, and information provided by the client. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all information provided to Inside Lookbook is accurate, including but not limited to room measurements, layout, and other details necessary to complete the design process. Any inaccuracies or omissions may result in errors in the final design, for which Inside Lookbook cannot be held responsible.
- Liability for Design Errors: While Inside Lookbook takes great care in providing accurate and functional design recommendations, we do not guarantee that every design will be free from errors. We develop our designs based on the information provided by the client, and errors in the design that arise from inaccurate or incomplete client-provided information (e.g., incorrect measurements or room configurations) are the sole responsibility of the client. Inside Lookbook will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from design errors or inaccuracies.
- Design Installation: In some cases, Inside Lookbook provides clients with a custom floorplan and Insider's Guide to help facilitate the installation of the design. However, we are not responsible for any issues that arise during the installation process, including but not limited to difficulties with assembling or placing furniture, or other challenges the client may encounter in executing the design. Inside Lookbook does not provide physical installation services, and any work performed by contractors or other third parties is beyond our control and liability.
Furniture & Decor Purchase Liability Limitation Policy
- Product Availability & Changes: Inside Lookbook is not responsible for any changes made by third-party retailers, including but not limited to changes in product availability, price, description, materials, or design. It is the client’s responsibility to verify the details of the products before completing a purchase, including dimensions, colors, materials, and other relevant product specifications.
- Product Quality & Defects: Inside Lookbook cannot guarantee the quality, functionality, or durability of any furniture or decor item purchased through a third-party retailer. If the client encounters any issues with the product, such as defects, damage, or quality concerns, it is the client’s responsibility to resolve these issues directly with the retailer or manufacturer according to their return, exchange, or warranty policies.
- Product Delivery & Assembly: Inside Lookbook is not liable for any delays, damages, or issues related to the shipping, delivery, or assembly of products purchased through third-party retailers. Any disputes related to shipping times, delivery services, or assembly issues must be addressed directly with the retailer, delivery service, or contractor hired by the client for assembly.
- Color and Material Variations: Please note that product images provided by retailers may not always accurately reflect the true color or texture of a product due to differences in screen displays or photography. Inside Lookbook is not responsible for any variations in color, material, or appearance between the product image and the actual product received by the client.
- Returns, Exchanges & Refunds: Inside Lookbook does not handle or facilitate returns, exchanges, or refunds for any furniture or decor purchased from third-party retailers. Clients must review and comply with the specific return, refund, and exchange policies of the retailer from whom the product was purchased.
- Pricing Discrepancies: Inside Lookbook offers our clients discounted pricing on furniture and decor. We make every effort to provide accurate pricing information. However, prices may change without notice, and Inside Lookbook is not responsible for any discrepancies in price between the time a design is created and the time of purchase by the client. We do not represent or guarantee that our prices are the lowest available. We do not offer price matching or additional discounts.
- Limitation of Liability: Inside Lookbook’s liability in relation to any product recommended as part of a design service is strictly limited to the design fees paid by the client. Inside Lookbook shall not be held liable for any damages, including but not limited to product defects, shipping issues, incorrect product specifications, or other losses related to the purchase or use of recommended products.
Shipping
- Digital Delivery of Design Services: All of Inside Lookbook's design services are delivered digitally. After completing your order, our team will prepare your design, which will be delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
- Delivery Timeline: For “Lite Looks”, the estimated timeline for receiving your digital design box is 24 hours. For “Looks”, the estimated timeline for receiving your digital design box depends on the client uploading photos and measurements to Inside Lookbook. Generally, designs are delivered within 5-7 of receiving all necessary information (photos, measurements, and any other details) from the client. Delays may occur if there are missing or incomplete details provided by the client.
- Email Confirmation and Download Instructions: Upon completion of your custom design, Inside Lookbook will send an email containing:
- A downloadable link or attachment for your custom floorplan.
- A downloadable link or attachment for your Insider’s Guide, which includes styling instructions, furniture placement, and insider tips.
Please ensure that the email provided during the ordering process is correct, as this is where your digital design box will be sent. If you do not receive your design within the expected timeframe, please check your spam or junk folder.
- No Physical Shipment: As Inside Lookbook only provides digital design services, no physical products or hard copies of the design are shipped. All designs are sent electronically, and clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary software (e.g., PDF reader) to view and download the digital files.
- Re-Delivery Requests: If you encounter any issues accessing or downloading your digital design files, please contact us at concierge@insidelookbook.com within 14 days of receiving your delivery email, and we will assist in re-sending the files or troubleshooting any issues.
- Digital Delivery Acknowledgment: By purchasing a design from Inside Lookbook, clients acknowledge that all designs will be delivered digitally, and no physical items will be shipped.
Intellectual Property & Usage Policy
- Ownership of Designs and Product Recommendations: All custom designs, floor plans, and product recommendations provided by Inside Lookbook are the intellectual property of Inside Lookbook. This includes, but is not limited to, floorplans and custom floorplans, the Insider’s Guide, design concepts, styling instructions, and any other related deliverables.
- License for Personal Use Only: Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the designs and product recommendations provided by Inside Lookbook solely for their personal use in their own residential space. This license does not allow the client to use the designs for any commercial, business, or public purpose.
- Ownership of Website and Delivered Design Images: All images, graphics, and visuals featured on the Inside Lookbook website or included in delivered design packages are the exclusive property of Inside Lookbook. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Images showcasing sample designs or projects on the website.
- Images, diagrams, and visuals provided in the custom floor plans or Insider’s Guide delivered to the client.
- Clients may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish these images or visuals for any purpose without the express written consent of Inside Lookbook. The use of these images is strictly limited to viewing and reference purposes in connection with the client’s personal project.
- Prohibited Actions: The following actions are strictly prohibited without express written consent from Inside Lookbook:
- Sharing: The client may not share, distribute, or disclose the designs, floor plans, product recommendations, images, or any other proprietary materials to any third party, including but not limited to other designers, retailers, contractors, or other individuals, except for personal installation purposes in the client's home.
- Reselling: The client may not resell, license, or sublicense the designs, images, or any part of the deliverables to any other individual, business, or entity.
- Reproducing: The client may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works based on the designs, product recommendations, or images for any purpose other than personal use in their own home.
- Public Display or Publication: The client may not publish, display, or distribute the designs, images, or recommendations in any public forum, online platform, or social media without prior written consent from Inside Lookbook.
- Intellectual Property Rights: All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights associated with the designs, floor plans, product recommendations, and images remain the exclusive property of Inside Lookbook. The client acknowledges that the purchase of design services does not transfer any ownership rights in these materials to the client.
General
- Client Acknowledgment: By purchasing furniture and decor based on Inside Lookbook's design recommendations, the client acknowledges and agrees that Inside Lookbook is not responsible for any issues arising from the product purchase or use. Clients assume all risks associated with purchasing and using products from third-party retailers.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Inside Lookbook’s liability exceed the total fees paid by the client for the design services provided. Inside Lookbook will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the design process, the purchase or installation of products, or any other aspect of the client's project.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute related to the design services provided, the client agrees to first contact Inside Lookbook to resolve the issue in good faith. If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal discussions, both parties agree to pursue mediation before filing any legal action.
By purchasing design services from Inside Lookbook, the client agrees to these terms and acknowledges that they have read and understood this policy.
